ABOUT TAMURDA PICASSO

I’m Tamira Denise, also known as Tamurda Picasso, a self‑taught visual artist based in Hemet, California. I create expressive portraits of mainly African American entertainers, focusing on emotion, culture, and legacy. I also work in three‑dimensional braided art, a technique that lets me blend texture and storytelling. My goal is to honor Black creativity through bold visuals and unique, tactile design.
